Why Scraps of Grace you ask??? Primarily because it is through God's grace that I am able to do what I love...scrapbooking, cardmaking, basically anything that has beautiful paper and embellishments involved. This is also a place to share my work as well as whatever is on my heart. A creative outlet for the mind, body, and soul.

I encourage you to relax, read, and browse a while and I hope that your day will be brightened and blessed by what you encounter.

Je t'aime Paris

Our church hosts this amazing ladies' luncheon every Spring called tablescapes.  Each table is decorated in a different theme.  This year, Children's Ministry is hosting two tables a Paris table and a birdhouse table.  I am working on some of the decorations for the Paris table and boy am I having fun working on all this girlie stuff.  I rarely get to use pink on my layouts since I live in a house full of boys!

The first project I have completed are these cute little mini frames (the picture area is only 1.5" x 1.5") that will be at each ladies place and will be their take-home gift from us.

Supplies used: Frames - Michaels; Patterned paper - Chatterbox, Fancy Pants, Graphic 45 & Prima; Ink - Distress Ink (Frayed Burlap); Die cut - Silhouette; Metal Cross - Making Memories

The Graphic 45 Tour de France paper from the Curtain Call collection couldn't have been anymore perfect.  One side is row after row of "stamps" with the Eiffel Tower and the word Paris and then one larger (4" x 5") image of the same stamp - which you'll see in another project for this same table scape.  I can't wait to see it all pulled together!

On another note...today is a special day as my hubby and I celebrate our 10th anniversary.  My how time flies!  I'm blessed beyond measure by him and I am so glad that God put us together all those years ago.
