Why Scraps of Grace you ask??? Primarily because it is through God's grace that I am able to do what I love...scrapbooking, cardmaking, basically anything that has beautiful paper and embellishments involved. This is also a place to share my work as well as whatever is on my heart. A creative outlet for the mind, body, and soul.

I encourage you to relax, read, and browse a while and I hope that your day will be brightened and blessed by what you encounter.

Spreading the Love

Happy Valentine's Day my friends.  I promised I'd share some Valentine's projects so here they are.  The first is a wreath that's hanging in our home.

I used the Basic Grey Sugar Rush collection for this project.  I added a few metal clips that I found a while back at Michael's.  A little (okay a lot) hot glue and here it is.

The other project has been my younger boys' Valentine's cards for their classmates.  When asked what they wanted to give to their school friends, the answer was a resounding Blow Pops!  Okay,  I can work with that.  Thanks to a handy Silhouette cut file, the leftover red and white chevron from our Christmas cards, a little washi tape and a couple stamps and we were on our way.  Here's how they turned out.

I was able to create a print and cut file using the original template and used a little glue to attach it to the back side of the chevron heart.  The boys signed all of them and they are ready to go!

Share some love and enjoy your Valentine's Day.
