Why Scraps of Grace you ask??? Primarily because it is through God's grace that I am able to do what I love...scrapbooking, cardmaking, basically anything that has beautiful paper and embellishments involved. This is also a place to share my work as well as whatever is on my heart. A creative outlet for the mind, body, and soul.

I encourage you to relax, read, and browse a while and I hope that your day will be brightened and blessed by what you encounter.

Scrapbook & Cards Today!!!

After a very fun afternoon at the roller rink with my family, I opened my mailbox to wonderful happy mail yesterday. It doesn't get much better than that! My copies of Scrapbook & Cards Today with my VERY FIRST physical magazine publication had arrived along with some wonderful goodies they sent me. Please check it out...my layout is highlighted on page 45 of this wonderful free publication. These ladies have done such a beautiful job with this magazine and as of today, they are celebrating their 5th birthday. Hop on over to their blog and see what all they are doing to celebrate. You won't be disappointed.

Today is my first day off in NINE days and the kids are still on spring break and my hubby is off fishing with his friend. The sun is shining but the wind is blowing like crazy out there - I love how my wind chimes sound but boy oh boy, I don't like being out in those gusts. I'm thinking a trip to the library with the boys and maybe ramping up to a movie night with pizza to cap off their spring break will be fun and relaxing. I really want to craft today so hopefully, they'll give me a little time to hide out in my craft room and play with some pretty paper!

Here is one more card that I haven't shared yet...

Supplies used: Alphabet stickers - Fancy Pants; Brad - Making Memories; Button - Cosmo Cricket; Cardstock - craft supplies; Flower - Prima (large) and craft supplies (small); Ink - VersaMagic in Sahara Sand; Patterned Paper - Fancy pants; Ribbon - Dear Lizzy by American Crafts; Washi tape - craft supplies

Sending you all hugs - I hope you all know how grateful I am for the wonderful comments you leave - they make my day!

This is a beautiful card Catherine! I love the soft color palette and the way you angled the design.
And congratulations on being published in a print magazine! I just downloaded the new issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today so I will be sure to check out your layout.
